Lo,

I now realize my post was a bit incoherent.

I apologize for my action. It was not my intention to confuse or offend anyone.

I was mearely trying to present some information an hopefully incite an interesting conversation.

No replies. Fine then.

But why you choose to close the thread instead of letting it die does not make sense.

Btw, thanx for wasting your time with my post. Go ahead and close this one too after your rebuttal.

i doubt wether you confused or offended anyone. your post was simply incoherent.

LC closed it and told you that if you repost and it is understandable then there's no problem.

so YOU close this thread, sit down and work out what it was that you wanted to say and repost.

what part of that don't you understand?

Please understand that this is an apology for my incoherance, addresed to LostCause.

I did not post in portugese or any other dificult language. Noone (including myself)tried to elaborate the topic.

I refuse to repost, for the fact I simply don't care anymore.

This, again, is an open apology. Untill it is accepted or declined, so shall be this thread.

you're new to &totse aren't you..?

i thought that your original thread might be raising an interesting point but i couldn't really be sure.

i dare say most of the other regulars felt the same way.

its called a rhetorical question.

(rhetorical

adj 1: of or relating to rhetoric; "accepted two or three verbal and rhetorical changes I suggested"- W.A.White; "the rhetorical sin of the meaningless variation"- Lewis Mumford 2: concerned with effect or style of writing and speaking; "a rhetorical question is one asked solely to produce an effect (especially to make an assertion) rather than to elicit a reply" [ant: unrhetorical])

Well that was an asshatted apology.

And here I was thinking I might get a flash of sincerity out of someone. My naivity strikes again.

If you want to send me an apology, send me an e-mail. Don't waste the entire boards time with your backhanded statements and rhetorical questions.

And since this has nothing to do with religion, I'm closing this, too.

Want to go for round three?

Cheers,

Lost
