That's not entirely correct. Soldiers dying in war are dying because they enlisted, or because they are good patriots. No soldier wants to die for your sins, believe me.

I'm not some hater of christianity but I hate this attitude of a 'good sheep'. I'd suggest reading some books which deal with religion in a critical yet objective way. Quoting the bible impressed the unfaithful 1000 years ago. You are not going to convert anybody with this stuff nowadays (Well I suppose I'm wrong on this one. There will always be a surprising amount of sheep who are afraid of life.)

People buy into god or a "higher power" because they dont want to admit the truth...this is it..theres nothing else...we are born....we live out our lives then we die..then the next generation lives and dies.
