If a loved one has sinned, how could you possibly be eternally happy in Heaven knowing that they have gone to Hell?

I've wondered about this as well. Is Heaven subjective to the person? Can any of you hardcore Christians answer this?

its assumed that good ppl get with good ppl. thats not always so eh?

as i understand it, heaven is heaven is heaven. it isnt subjective. but whatever interests you can be found there.

I've given this some thought and i realized that the only way one could remain happy in heaven knowing that his friends are in hell is if you retained no memory of your former life. Almost like being reborn again in heaven with no memory of his before-after life.

Of course I myself stick more with Eastern beliefs because they're much more logical in their approach to explaining the world and they're also much less oppressive.
