Do you guys ever think that when you examine things, or think too deeply into things, you end up with less of a solution than when you started? Rarely do I ever become deep in thought and actually come up with a solid foundational viewpoint, I just end up more confused and depressed than when I started.

How can I help this?

I understand where you are coming from.

When I truly think about something, I realize how much, we as society, don't know. Everytime we make a discovery, we unleash even more stuff we do not know shit about.

That does not bother me because I enjoy the questions that arise from contemplation.

It's hard to feel secure in life when you can't find a conclusion though.

I think that, as humans, it is naive to think that we are supposed to know everything.

i think that often when you examine a situation closely, you simply get more questions, which often isn't a problem, more of a challenge

i also find that when i examine how i feel and think about an issue that, especially when i can't find a simple solution, i find out more about myself and the way I think

so i guess, try to focus on whatever small things you do realize about yourself or others, or whatever small problems you did solve, not the big problems, many big problems just don't have a solid foundational answer

I believe that if you have the results you are mentioning you may have lost yourself in too many details and tangent factors, and lost sight of the original problem. This would probably give a feeling of confusion, dispersion, and more suchlike.

It might be worthwhile to try and watch your attitude when you are starting out. I am not saying this from a moralistic or "holier-than-thou" standpoint, but purely a practical one. It's also a standpoint which lets you completely free in doing this.
