It sounds kinda unreal, but I think I had an encounter with a higher being. I was reading at my desk when I suddenly felt really tired and it was like I fell asleep, but I felt more awake than I have been in weeks. It began to get really bright, until I couldn't see. I then think I heard a voice, but all it said was "SEVEN." I then realized I was lying on the floor. I can't get the voice out of my head. What do you think this means?

hmmm, these fingerprints look familiar.

-It sounds unreal

-There was a bright light

-A voice, but no face

-It left a message full of mystery that you will likely never decipher

-You ended up face-first on the floor

-The voice resonates in your head, but the rest of your memory is fragmented and fading

It was either God or an Alien. I'm not sure which.

If you discover in a few days/weeks/months that you have some kind of implant under your skin, it is probably an Alien. If you find the remains of surgical marks, or your anus feels like it has been probed, it is probably an Alien. If you are revisited again and asked to board the mothership, it is probably an Alien.

-However-

If you are overwhelmed by feelings of guilt, shame and have a newfound terror of masturbating, it is probably God. If you feel compelled to run out and tell everyone you know (and those you don't) about how your religious existence is superior to their feeble existence, it is probably God. If you are revisited again and this time there are trumpets and chariots and nekkid cherubs, it is probably God.

Good luck. It would suck to be you in either scenario. And you were right. It does sound unreal.

You were at your computer playing some game or something and fell asleep. You fell over in your sleep and the next morning the sun was shining brightly on you, and since your eyes weren't adjusted to the light, it seemed very bright at first. The "Seven!" you heard was probably a TV, or more likely, your dad saying "Hey Jaffar, its seven o'clock! Time for _____ (probably church, you religious ass)"

I think I'd like to experience it, just once. Sleep paralysis, that is.

No, you say that now but when it happens you'll regret it. You're literally overwhelmed with fear, it can happen every night (as in my case) but you never get used to it.
