Now i'm not Christian by any means.. But i think you missed the whole forgiveness part of the bible. Without the forgiveness part the Christian faith is fucked because that would mean Jesus was worthless.

in gods eyes murder and lies are obviously equally unforgiveable because he made both of them commandments it is blasphemous of you to sit there and say you can never kill anyone but then simply shrug off your other responsibilites. god does not like americanized religion because god is not an american.

Doesn't it say in the Bible "Do not judge for one day you will be judged too" I forgot what book and chapter it is. If anyone can remind me it would be nice.

Oh man, you've got some interpretation problems. According to you, anyone who breaks any of the ten commandments goes to hell, no matter what, if I understand you correctly.

The term "moral sins" is something that is Catholic, it does not come from the Bible, but rather was invented by the Catholic Church. Even so, they are forgivable.

"According to Catholic doctrine, a mortal sin produces a macula, or stain on the soul, and a person who dies in a state of mortal sin, i.e., without having repented, has thereby chosen or merited eternal separation from God in Hell.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mortal_sin

Let's take a look at the commandments. The little explanations after them are wikipedia's, not mine.

1. "I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt..." - This commandment is to believe in the existence of God.

2. "You shall have no other gods besides Me...Do not make a sculpted image or any likeness of what is in the heavens above..."

3. "You shalt not swear falsely by the name of the Lord..." - This commandment is to never take the name of God in a vain oath. In Exodus, the text reads "in a vain oath," while in Deuteronomy it reads "in a false oath"

You've NEVER said "oh my god!" or "god damnit!" or "i swear to god?" By your interpretation, even one offense is something you cannot be forgiven for. So you would be going to hell.

4. "Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy" (the version in Deuteronomy mentions "Keep" rather than "Remember")

Have you "kept the Sabbath day" holy every single week of your life? Never doing any work on that day? I doubt it, especially since the Sabbath is actually supposed to be Saturday. You're going to hell!

5. "Honor your father and your mother..." - This commandment is a development when compared to other laws of the Ancient East (for example, the Code of Hammurabi) that do not call for equal respect of the father and the mother.

Hahahaha, this one needs no explanation. Hell. Go there.

6. "You shall not murder" - The Hebrew Bible makes a distinction between murdering and killing, and explicitly notes that murder is always a heinous sin, while killing is sometimes necessary, and in these cases just in the eyes of God. Thus, Jews take offense at translations which state "Thou shall not kill", which Jews hold to be immoral. The official doctrine of the Catholic Church and the beliefs of many Protestant Christians hold that this verse forbids abortion; in Judaism, most forms of abortion (where the mother's life is not in danger) are prohibited based on other sources.

I'll assume you haven't killed anyone, but some Christian crazies, not unlike yourself, believe that you've violated this commandment if you've truely hated someone, and maybe wanted to kill them. So...hell?

7. "You shall not commit adultery"

You don't sound married, but never say never. Again, lust could be interpreted as adultery also, so keep your eyes to yourself!

8. "You shall not steal" (sometimes interpreted as kidnapping, since there are other injunctions against stealing property in the Bible).

I highly doubt you've never stolen even the most smallest insignificant thing. Remember, according to you, it's all the same to God.

9. "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor"

This is what your topic is about, and again, I find it extremely hard to believe you've never told even the smallest lie, which, according to you, damns you to hell.

10. "You shall not covet your neighbor's house..." (in Exodus, the text reads "... neighbour's house, ... neighbour's wife, nor his manservant..." etc. while in Deuteronomy, "thy neighbour's wife, ... thy neighbour's house, his field" etc.)

Never been jealous?

In, conclusion, shut the fuck up.

you are a retard that was the biggest waste of space i've ever seen in that entire post you didnt say anything relevant. and youre a presumptuous douchebag i never said that i was innocent or that i would not go to hell i certainly would. what i'm pointing out is the horrible disney-ization done to the bible and so many americans think that simply being a "good" person will get you into heaven when really they dont have the slightest clue what the bible says and how overwhelming the amount of people that go to hell would be/is

No, you were saying that anyone who violates the ten commandments goes to hell, no matter what. I'm not a Christian, but I know enough to know that is not true. That is what the whole idea of "forgiveness" is for. The Bible says everyone is a sinner, and everyone can be forgiven.

Then you also pulled this Catholic "mortal sins" bullshit out of your ass, which has nothing to do with the Bible.

You need a better understanding of the Christian religion that you hate so much. Go read something.

Well, Hate will certainly stop the flow of God in your life.

1 John 4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
