Leviticus 21:16-23 have nothing to do with communion at all. Hell, communion didn't even exist then. It was regarding people with 'defects' not making sacrifices, which were supposed to be left for the priest to do. Anyway, the point was that these days most religions pick and choose which parts of the bible to follow.

Leviticus 21:16-23 tell how God wanted sacrifices made be priests who weren't disabled. You see, the sacrifice, before Christ's time, was the only method of redemption for sins. It was quite the delicate process. The animal had to be 'without blemish', and the priest performing the sacrifice also had to be 'without blemish'. It wasn't meant to be an insult to the disabled (there were even disabled priests), it's just the seriousness of the process.

Communion (what I think was mentioned in the video) didn't even exist in the time of leviticus.

I agree. What some may not realize, regarding these older scriptures, was that (I think this is talked about in Acts, but I'm not sure), Jesus went back and told his disciples that some of the rules didn't apply anymore. Alot of the rules regarding what foods they may eat (ie. animals that don't chew their cud) didn't really matter anymore. I honestly don't know what he said regarding the scripture saying homosexuality is an abomination.
