Alright breif summary of how it occured.
I was walking home from school and I thought.(My brief summary now ends http://www.totse.com/bbs/smile.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/smile.gif))
Well I was wondering why majority of people seem to think that christianity is correct. What about the other religions; now I know they have their believes/followers. But look at it from a different angle it seems that people are blocking out different beliefs and sticking to their own.
About a month ago I was talking with my dad about beliefs for some odd reason. And he was telling me that its kind of funny how some if not most of the religions are based on the same thing. e.g. christianity is based on jesus dying for the peoples sins. (which my dad told me was popular or something like that at the time) In ancient Greece their religion was partly based on Hercules who fought through strength and what not. (which was also the fad of that era) Can you see what I'm onto? Another connection which I can point out is that both Jesus and Hercules were the son of god or a higher being. (sounds fishy no?) Those are the only examples I can think of at the momment but more will eventually come to me.
I just want to know if you guys think I may have a point at all or I'm just full of my own thoughts.
