Some of my life philosophies are Satanic (ones aimed towards self-improvement, not taking other people's shit, etc.) but I would not call myself a Satanist. I am, however, attracted to Satanic or "dark" imagery and music(death/black metal, dark ambient, etc.

Are you asking about people who are into Diabolatry/theistic Satanism?(devil worship) or Laveyian Satanism (philosophy of worshipping the god in you, etc.)?????

LaVeyan satanism as a whole seems like a pretty solid philosophy. For this reason I refer to myself as a Satanist. I'm not about to spend two hundred dollars signing up for their official membership, though. What a scam.

would you really need to ask that? the vast majority of people who can call themselves satanists (granted that they arent the rebellous fuckers going against the mainstream) are fairly intellectual beings. i think most could find their way out of many situations.
