I know this may get moved to MGCBYG, but I thought it was worth putting here to see if we could just brainstorm some kind of random ideas.

What is your idea of the perfect god? What elements must be present in his/her/its personality and general way of acting?

You dont need a god that's controlling everything for anything but a crutch. If you need a crutch, booze is cheap. Pot is easy to grow. But i would never tell you do do those things, crutches make one leg stronger than the other. Avoid crutches, even if your leg hurts like hell.

Maybe you were supposed to have a limp. God told me you were. Who do you trust? God or yourself?

I think a God in my opinion is one that is all powerful and can show it:

1) invincible

2) infinently strong

3) magical-like powers beyond our comprehension

4) and of course he can fly and teleport any where in the universe!

In other words like a super hero, but a really, really tough one. I know it sounds goofy, but if such a being did exist...are they not a God, or god-like to us?

I would say so. If I were a God, I would be such a being. Hell, even if you had the ability to do something only like manipulate fire to your will, and make it from nothing...then are you not a God of Fire?

I think the term is relative. but many would probably consider such a person a "God" cause it would be easy to convince them. but really, it's just a 'god' word. It might not have any meaning or existence anywhere else in the universe other than earth.

Hahahaha! That made me laugh. His father (Jehova) is far more of a God than Jesus was.

If Jesus and God were to fight, Jesus would TOTALLY be owned.

(notice God is actually called God, and not Jesus ["heh-suse" in spanish]).

What is this whole thing about people thinking Jesus is God, when God is God? it's stupid, and they know that too.Or worshipping the Virgin Mary?
