Besides everyone thinking they are "crazy" and a "cult", does anyone find anything that actually doesn't make any sense in their religion?

You mean besides the belief that evolution is wrong and alien creationism is right? I like how they believe Jesus was really half alien and half human. It's almost as if they just replaced "God" with "alien" and ran with it.

The whole "we cloned a human, look at us!" thing is almost definatly a publicity stunt.

If they really cloned a human, they'd be busy showing it off to the world in order to impress more weak minded people to give them money.

But by saying "We really did clone a human, but is too secret a secret to show you!" most people are snorting laughter behind their backs.

You have to ask them though, if life on Earth was created by aliens, then who created the aliens?

On the rael website they claim a private company (Clonaid) made the claims about the clones and they dont have anything to do with it. BUT When I went to the clonaid website, it's got a big picture of Rael and says it does have to do with them. I don't know... But at least they promote peace and making yourself happy.

this is similar to the whole belief in god bull, no proof but take all this as fact. i mean if they're trying to convert people from other religions then they shouldn't have to worry about proving anything.

Clonaid is run by a raelian, based on raelian beliefs and Rael supports the idea but distances himself from the group. Sounds like a good way to raise money but not have to answer any questions.

This article I found through wikipedia is interesting, apparently there is barely a conaid company at all, http://www.rickross.com/reference/raelians/raelians78.html

I don't think you can clone humans with only two employees. http://www.totse.com/bbs/smile.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/smile.gif) Sounds like a scam for money to me.

Makes as much sense as any other religion out there.

I've study this group a little and found their use of the scripture is incomplete and inaccurate. They pick and choose verses that by taken out of context support their views. But, by viewing the entire bible as a whole their philosophy falls apart quickly.

I see their greatest mistake is using the OT/NT as a basis for their religion. Any half knowlegable person of the bible will see the problems with their claims instantly.
