quote:...People that look past the bibles encryption and take it's message way too literally. The bible is one of the most encrypted books in existence. Many of the messages inside are meant to be taken in a metaphorical manner, not literal. ...
"It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man"-Psalm 118:8
Now what does this tell us? That God is in control of everything. I take refuge in the Lord, and I don't need to trust in someone else and what they believe God to be. ...
Thank you, and God bless you all.

Okay, here we have David of Marion preaching to us about Christianity, and how we are supposed to take the bible in a philosophical manner. I respect everyone's right to their relion, but I do have a problem with this. In his thread, he says that the bible is metaphoical, then he takes in in a total literal manner, by putting a litteral Lord and a litteral man into the picture. So, if Christians look at the bible as some parts of the bible litteral, and some metaphorical, how the hell is anyone else supposed to know which is which? Or, Is it all just a scam? hehe.
i.e. Let's add an example here. Lets say I used marijuana as my Lord, and the police force as the man in this metaphorical sentence. This could mean that I could say "Fuck the popo's, I'm gunna smoke my reefer"
