View Full Version : i have a problem
in tibetan budhism, there is a picture of the circle of life where we see a rooster bitting a snake bitting a pig bitting the first rooster.
each animal represents something. rooster is greed and envy and jealousy, snake is violence, anger and hatred, and the pig is ignorance, apathy and delusion.
this circle means to say that each one leads to the next in a vicious circle.
right now i'm stuck at apathy, i have no motive to do my homework, or get up in the morning. i need help. i am going to try and go back on the multi vitamins too, but i need help on the basic life issue here.
i'm not a religious man but i respect the diffrent ideals many religions try and send out. I beleive the answer to my struggle lies in budhism. can any one help me find the motivation i need to move look forward to the next day?

Buddhism is an excellent choice.
If you continue to avoid homework, masturbate to TOTSE porn and slack for the rest of your life, Buddha will judge you unworthy of the human form.
You'll be reincarnated as a snail in my garden (you will be reborn in the same time period, until you move forward and make progress). You will exist in this state until one day I spot you on a paving slab in my backyard. Being disgusted by your vile and repulsive form I will decide to slowly step on you from your tail-end and one by one your internal organs will explode and liquefy under the pressure of my 200 pound frame, as my foot very slowly rocks backwards and forwards across your slimy, mashed body.
And with a final grinding motion of my heel your soul will be set hurtling toward its next incarnation.
In this life you will be a slug, and one day I will spot you on my drive.
Having just come back from a large shopping trip I remember that I have just purchased some rock salt...
Repeat ad naseum.
Think about this, if you keep putting things off, eventually you will have no more time to do them and you will regret not doing them. Make an effort of not putting things off, whenever there is something to do, do it. If there is something you absolutely can not do at the moment and you must put it off, write down on a piece of paper the exact date and time you will do it. Keep a list of this so you will not put it off.
I know that cycle too well... But eventually bills stop paying themselves...
Either learn how to grow your own food or learn how to be unaffected by myomatous work... Zen or Taoism is a great path to preparing yourself mentally for the challenges of uninspiring workplaces. No God’s are to blame or thank for the choices you make… It will eventually give you new perspectives, effortless growth and increased efficiency, especially if you choose to work in the Western World…
China’s economy is becoming a major influence on the western world’s markets and by the time you enter the workforce, China, South Korea and Japan will all be major players… What you learn of Eastern Culture and work ethic will only aid you in your own future working with these competitors…
You have to start been real with yourself... Are you really lacking energy or do you lack something else? How are you able to lie in bed all day? If you have direction (and possibly self-worth) that should piss you off… Is it really that easy for you to stay in bed?
