Jihad does not mean "holy war" and no where in the Koran does it justify killing people for their religion.

This guy knows what he's talking about. Jihad is actually defined by the non radical muslims as an inner battle, within oneself, not a bad thing at all. Obviously a jihad war is bad, but every religion has it's extremists.
Are you serious dude? Here are a few verses from the Koran that tell to kill.
Sura 9:5 When the sacred months of the Islamic calendar have passed, kill the Mushrikun [non-believers] wherever you find them, and take them captive, and besiege them, and lie in wait for them in each and every ambush.
Sura 9:14 Fight against them [pagans] so that Allah will punish them by your hands and give you victory over them.
Sura : 9:29 Fight against those who believe not in Allah believe not in the last day [d] and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (Islam)
Sura :9:73 Strive hard against the non-believers and the hypocrites, and be harsh against them.
Sura: 5:33 "The punishment of those who wage war against [disobey] God and His messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off from opposite sides, or be exiled from the land.
Sura : 8:39 Fight them (non-believers) until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and polytheism] and the religion will all be for Allah alone. [in the whole world]
Sura : 2:216 Jihad [holy fighting in Allah’s cause] is ordained for you [Muslims] though you dislike it.
Sura 9:123 Fight those of the non-believers who are close to you, and let them find harshness in you.
