Whats the fucking point? Even if you do think there is a god what would he ever do?

Bad things happen because god gave us free will right?

So how is god supposed to change anything without affecting free will. If god will not stop a rapist, why will he grant your wishes?

If you are doing a worship-prayer "thank you god for doing everything good", why the fuck would he care?

He knows what you're thinking, if you like him, he already knows. Plus, if you're an omnipotent super being, would you be bothered about a bunch of non super powerful/super intelligent beings opinions?

It's like a man hitting his kids to "get respect", sure, you'll be feared, but it makes you pretty pathetic.

Psychologically prayer is like positive thinking--it actually does produce results. Similar to the placebo. If someone prays for happieness, there are going to be looking for it so they will be more likely to find it. It pretty simple, it doesn't mean god gave it to them, but the act of prayer did help.

I think you'll find that prayer, if done with enough concentration can be likened to a weak form of meditation - where the results come not from a God; but from your mind instead...

i think you got this all wrong..

sometimes, God lets things happen, to open peoples eyes. not just because of free will.

C.S lewis, one of his quotes is.. " pain is God's megaphone to rouse a deaf world "

and, yes, he does know what is going on, but he likes you to be honest with him and communicate.

i challenge you to actually start to pray, instead of just judging it..

by the way, i dont consider myself religious.. i'd like to be more religious in action, actually

I consider praying the same thing as meditation. Uh, "god" can create natural disasters if he wishes; that does not affect free will.

God needs you to all pray as hard you can; he hates running out of toilet paper.
