Wow. Your stupidity is actually pain inducing. Why don’t you explain to me how a Christian with vastly different beliefs to those who participated in the crusades is at all responsible for an act that occurred hundreds of years before they were born? And Christians who reside mostly in western cultures would be the most educated by far.

Don’t ever believe that being some little 13 year old atheist makes you smarter then anybody who chooses to believe in God. More often then not you all base your reasons for not believing that there is a god by the lack of scientific proof, completely ignoring the fact that not one of you is capable of going into any science room lab and proving that air consists of oxygen and other elements. You rely on this simply by the text of some random book, written by someone you have never met and is probably dead. So atheism is more often then not the result of everybody constantly telling you that science is truth.

So teenagers (12-15) who choose to “believe” in atheism are also relying purely on a kind of faith. (And as a sidenote: Science has never disproved God, a truly omnipotent being could easily work with molecules and such. It doesn’t all have to be fairy dust and force of will.)

There are probably a dozen flaws in my arguments though. Point them out if you like.

So what you're saying is that these sorts of people don't believe in God because they only believe in what is currently supported by science. I'm going to have to disagree and say that science is usually only supportive of an atheistic viewpoint, and it is mostly other things such as personal experiences, apparent flaws in religion, and so on that cause people not to believe.

Religion isnt about convincing other people that there is a God and it isnt about desperatly trying to proof there is a God or some supreme being.

Religion is about, RULES and VALUES. Like: Thou shalt not kill! Thou shalt not steal.

No, I dont believe the heaven opened up and 2 stone tablets came down with a holy voice in a bright light telling some bearded guy that these are the ten commandments to which all should live up to.

They are RULES. Made by Priests, and other holymen to give the people a perspective on how to keep on the right path. And offcourse, with alot of storytelling around them they make it sound very great so people really believe this is the way, and if they dont do it like that, they will defy God and risk punishment.

Its a LAW made for the dark ages to stop the LAWLESSNES that reigned during that time.

The entire bible is actually one big Law book . But it does not only that. People are curious creatures, and if they dont have the awner to specific questions they will sit around the house all day doing nothing and wondering about the greater mysteries of the earth and time and heaven.

The crops would not be brought in, the cattle would be neglected, the houses kept unfinnished. In short, a wondering mind would keep economy down! So they give the people their awners, ready for them.

The best awnsers they can find (considering the tools that had back then) A tale about God creating the earth, tales about the first humans and how the languages came to be and why do we live where we live now? and many more of these questions which troubled our ancestors too!

So Religion was an essential part of the world for many years as it kept the populace happy and information-fed so they can return to their every-day duties.

If that solely means, do I believe in God?

Then, yes I must be an atheist! But why depend only on the believe or disbelieve in God? It will only arouse a debate which will never end. Even if science finds a way to prove that there is nothing at the end of the universe, "believers" will argue that God is in a different dimension and that we cant get there. So, there really is no way proofing that God exists or doesnt exist.

Its not called BELIEF" for nothing. If I knew for sure God existed, it wouldnt be called Believe, then I would just KNOW. People believe that God exists.

Either he does exists, or he doesnt exist, I dont care really.

The values and thinkings of the Christian Chruch are a respectfull way of living, thinking, acting. If everyone would keep on to the Christian Chruch, there would be no mor quarrel, no more war, no more crime.

It is for that reason alone, that Christianity is superior to all other Relions. Kneel down to thier values, not their God and your allready becoming a good person.
