View Full Version : Reincarnation would suck
Trippy to think about. A billion years from now when we collide with the sun. How crazy would it be to be a 10 year old a billion years from now knowing in your lifetime all life on earth will be gone.

The 'collision with the sun' will probably happen over a few million years. It will gradually wipe out life, not instantly.

But we've already found another 'earth-like' planet, 5 times larger than earth. Source. (http://tinyurl.com/8f5vw)
Granted, it's 20,000 lightyears away, who's to say we won't have the technology to make it there by then?

Dumbass. What about other planets. If other planets exist, the LIFE CYCLE will continue.
And you forget reincarnation deals with an afterlife. Your consciousness is in limbo for a period of time before you manifest yourself back. Therefore, it doesn't matter if the universe is destroyed, we would still be immortal... just not able to incarnate.

You're the dumbass for asking someone to prove something on a subject that is entirely speculation and belief.

He's right, the sun will eventually exhaust itself, but we're not gonna collide with it.

You're really that stupid? Well, let's just say that you started the thread with "SUPPOSITION" that reincarnation exists. So why are you asking ME to prove something, you useless twat. And I'm not going over the characteristics of Reincarnation - read the Vedas or go ask a Buddhist for the validity... of a BELIEF.
That is what reincarnation is... a BELIEF: That life is a cycle, and it never ends unless you can awaken and transcend it.

^Bot necessarily. If one recalls past lives--as I have, and many other people I know--than accepting the validity of reincarnation constitutes knowledge.
Belief is an archaic and invalid artifact of the Piscean Age.

I have wondered about someone chanelling past lives for me. The crazy thing I always think about is, in my future life if I connect with my current life would I believe that I was in fact a male who lived from 1987-whatever? Could I trust the results that I get if I came in contact with a past life?
I have often thought that reincarnation is plausible in that, energy is indestrucible, so once you die your energy is in a purgatory of sorts until it comes to being in another form. Also, can you be reincarnated into a tree or any type of animate object? Or, is it just animals?

I've always thought that reincarnation transcends time. So I could be reincarnated as Ramses or something.(It's just a thought, I don't even believe in reincarnation in that sense.)
