So, as I was searching through channels, I came across this televagelist guy. Now, televangelists are known to be strong headed, but this guy was bringing in historical characters.
He quoted some part of the Phillipians, which basically stated that everyone should bow down to Jesus.
What really got me pissed was this guy was rattling off names of creators of religions, including: Daoism, Confucianism (which is more of a way to live), Buddhism, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Mormonism, and I think he threw in a native African religion. The creators of these religions, with the exception of two, were before the birth of Christianity, yet he presents it as it has dominated over any other religion for an eternity.
He also criticized Freud for being an atheist, and everybody, including the speaker, started to laugh. I would think he implied that he was also making fun of his ways, which seems to be the basis of modern psychology.
Considering that all of these founders of the religions were intelligent (with the exception of Mormonism, for that seems to be the butt of a lot of religious jokes), do you think this guy was strong-headed, ignorant/stupid, or both.
