I thought it was pretty funny when they walked up while my dad was cleaning his rifles on the front porch a few years ago. They looked kinda nervous.

Yeah, well, they believe what? 144,000 people will go to heaven, yet there are 6 million of them in the United States. What kinda crap is that, and yet, they still go door-to-door asking for more members? Doesn't that decrease their chances of going into their version of heaven? Mindless idiots...

Hmm but if those 144,000 were already saved, wouldn't that take away their free will?

Then what is the point of being a Jehovahs Witness?

I think its kind of interesting that they are the biggest apocolyptic cult out there. Their "Watchtower" magazine has predicted the end of days like 72 times over the last century. They cleverly hide their mistakes though like "1984" does. The only real beef I ever had with them (besides the whole i can receive blood) is that I knew this girl in school who was one and I felt really bad that she had no friends. I mean everyone generally has at least one person they talk to (via internet if nothing else) but she had none. Usually people like this grow up, snap, then shoot up an office building. Luckily(?), she is so dedicated that this wont happen (its a bad thing...right?). Another somewhat mindless religion that will probably fall apart in the next 100 years or so.
