Why does the Spirit of their God choose to display himself through them in the form of signs of severe insanity?
Isn't that a touch degrading for an omnipotent being?

I would not say that this is all to do with Pentecostals...

Well, if anybody else has something to say about them, or has an answer to my question, it'd be much appreciated.

How else are they going to know that God has given them a gift?
I wouldn't say that they get severe insanity, they either laugh for no reason, cry for no reason, faint for no reason or start speaking in tongues and sometimes they get it all at once. But it doesn't last long and they go back to normal afterwards. I think its something to do with the overwhelming feeling of religious experiance that makes them go like this.

not if it is the body of a person in which only the person recognises it

if it is a new conception then it is a singular force and therefor cannot be grasped in this dimension:
thoughts/actions/even sight becomes a seperate reality and is not something anyone wants becuase this reality and another get connected by time which is what is unpleasant

Oh, all symptoms of insanity. Obviously they're not permanently crazy, but for the Almighty One to show his power by making people "laugh for no reason, cry for no reson, faint for no reason", spew unintelligible crap, and occasionally do all those things at once it really doesn't say much for His might and power.

Thats because its all in their heads! Its not God's fault they go psycho, although if he was the least bit considerate he would come down and point this out to them, but he would just gett annoyed by all the groveling I guess.
