.... I don't know much about authorship of the Old Testament texts, but we have it pretty much determined who wrote those within the New Testament. They were written by a few different men, as I'm sure the Old Testament scriptures were as well.

If he was trying to point out what you said, he's a fool because we for fucking sure know that one man didn't write it, and we do have a pretty good understanding of New Testament authorship (and possibly Old Testament). Regardless, this thread is trash.

well, i was talking mainly about the old testament. it is clear that multiple people wrote exodos, for example, while xians claim moses wrote it.

I don't hold christians in very high esteem either, and while I [kinda] see your point, most christians around here bash a lot of the things that mean the most to me, I.E. Sex, Drugs, & Booze, so I also see it as fair play. To the christians and other believers of different faiths, I have no beef with you as long as you don't try to push those beliefs on me [or my future child(ren)] in any way.
