Yea that helps, but not much new. The missing link will not effect creationists- Remember, one of their core rules is that anything that doesn't agree with what the bible says is automatically and baselessly declared invalid and false. In other words, they have no argument or case irrelevant of everything they can possibly say.

Also creationists will demand another missing link- Xeno's Paradox. In case you don't know, it goes:

Imagine shooting an arrow at a target. Before it gets to the target, it must reach a half way point. Before it gets to that point, it must go half way, and half of that, and half of that and so on. Divide in half forever and thus the arrow never reaches it's target.

Now imagine a die hard creationist and evolutionist debate.

C asks for transitional between (R)eptile and (B)ird.

E provides fossil RB, containing elements or R and B.

C claims that that's just a B. And there's no transitional between R and RB.

E provides fossil RRB.

C claims there's no transitional between R and RRB

And so on.

So while this weakens the argument (or actual non-argument as it is not possible to argue based on their ridiculous basic rules) it won't change minds.

Interesting.

Although not a big deal for creationists, it's pretty common for them to arbitrarily call a new find wither 100% human or 100% ape. Ironically different groups often disagree on fossils. One group will call a fossil obviously Human and another group will call the same fossil obviously an Ape.

Eh, I wasn't trying to change anyone's religious beliefs. Like I said... just thought it may be of some interest.
