Yeah, as the topic says. Is there anyway the church can send me to the tropics somewhere where aboriginals live on islands and where they don't believe in god, and like my job would be to teach them about the bible and teach them democracy. I'd really like such a job, anyway I can get one?

I think you'll be promoting more of a theocracy than a democracy.

Yes but christians don't care. Their bible is 100% true and so it gives them the right to force their beliefs on the uneducated 'lesser souls.' The natives don't know better because they are ignorant, therefore christianity must educate them as part of its social responsibility.

Ironically, christians themselves are very ignorant even in the ways of their religion- their bible is disproven by science, and disproven by itself. So you see, our social responsibility is to educate you in the error of your ways.

But not in the same way. As far as belief is concerned, only a prick would ever force you to believe something. Er wait...christians do that...so like I said.

Believe what you like but keep it the hell out of school. School is for truth only.

Forced to believe in something? How about the indoctrination in the public school system hmmm? (i know there was a huge thread on this, im just giving an example, not trying to start that agrument again)

This is hardly the right place for asking that kind of question if that is earnestly what you are seeking, you should ask a missionary.

Go to Afghanistan. They'll martyr you faster than your ass can say 'Praise you Jesus!'.

I cant say where the best place to go would be but you might want to try talking to your pastor. but it is a very good idea. good luck!

its not up to you to decide another persons beliefs you facist slutmonkey! missionaries are worse then racists. if you take away someones right to choose than you take the humanity out of them. You can practise christianity all you want but you cant make other people practice it.

Well it kinda works out then because I'm racist to. Anyway I don't practice christianity (I will if I can become a missionary though), I just want to assimilate these people into a better culture.

That made me laugh. You think you'll be able to go to a foreign country and convert them to American media, consumerism, and attitudes without having any semblence of America in their country because they are too poor for McDonalds to infilitrate.

A lot of times you'll find these indigenous cultures aren't interested in capitalism. What happens when a basket maker quits farming and solely produces baskets? The price of corn goes up and his family starves.
