Well, i was surfing wikipedia as i usually do when bored and came to an article about Koans from the Zen philosiphy, and got really fucking confused. I went to google and read some of the Book of Serenity, and it only confused me more. I looked at some sources and they said that a Koan cannot be interpreted logically, and this blew my world, because i've only been taught to think logically.
So if anyone can enlighten me, i would be very thankful.

As the Zen guy would say, "Exactly".
Then he'd tell you what enlightenment is like by punching you in the face.

Uhhh, not quite.
More on topic, if you are interested in Zen Koans, try reading "Bring Me the Rhinoceros", but John Tarrant. Perhaps it will help.
Koans are just a form of humour really. They make me laugh anyway. Ever notice that when you try to analyze jokes, they become less funny?

Not really humor, but the second part is right. The more you think about it, the more lost you become. It's not an intellectual activity.
