When I became an atheist, I tried to comprehend an eternity of none existence. I ended up realizing these sort of ‘infinite’ things aren’t so hard to grasp. The mind just has a way of overcomplicating things.

I can conceptualize it, but I, nor anyone can fully grasp the totality of it.

Anything I put merely sounds depressing. And that would not be my aim.

But it does in anycase bring about questions concerning my identity ,and what about my collective makes an individual, of how many individuals I have been in the past... Possibilities that collective matter becomes selfaware, the possibilty of my own eternal life through un-ending infinity. Am I a sum of the things that make me ,or am I something else. Does matter exist or only thought ,Perhaps this infinity is merely a product of my imagination. Why and how do I think? Is thought made of funny little liquids running around in the blood cooling apparatus known as a brain ?

My results were somewhat different.

I got these dreadful adrenaline rushes when I attempted to grasp it, and these were some of the most terrible feelings I've felt in my life. A few time I broke down sobbing.

Now that I don't think about it so much, I don't get these dreadful moments unless I read a book which brings me back to them.

I don't think we're suppose (or able to) ever comprehend how he was always there.

Our minds are limited.

One of the reasons is because we believe everything was formed from something or rather, over and over again. Indeed, everything we have is the work of materials that God gave us.. But he was not created. If he was created by something, he wouldn't be God.

We just can't comprehend it and in the end, it's best to not try, because you'll go crazy.

As for eternity.. Time is pretty silly. We created the decimals of time, in a sense. I heard a good analogy once.. If a match had a brain... it would think that the time for the flame to get from the start to the finish is a pretty damn long time.
