View Full Version : my opinion on "god" and christianity
god is not in any way a personified being. it is simply the force that has caused all the matter in the universe to be created.
shit like the "10 commandments" and what is considered "sins" and so on is simply a list of activities that those from many years ago created in order to control people and society and keep them from doing these things since they go against are nature in some way and are "morally wrong".

Are you sure that force is called "god"?

are you sure your name is whatever your name is?
are you sure that a "toaster" is called a toaster?
"god" is just the name in our language that we have given to describe this force

I'm fine with people calling it that. Everyone has that kind of 'spiritual' love feeling, you know just the feeling that's impossible to describe that religious people will feel and think that it's God and proof of their religion. The only problem is when you commit to a religion and let it make moral decision for you and so on, especially christianity which has been pretty much shot to hell.
