You should receive a candle and white garment/cloth.

I actually sewed my baptism garment into a very sexy dress that I wore last New Years. A little blasphemy anyone?
Cheers,

The Church will have a baptismal record of the event. When I was baptized I was given a nice cross and a rosary. I don't know if that was just my church or if other churches do something similar.

Not usually. I haven't seen any baptisms performed where they give you something.

Why do you seem proud of this ? http://www.totse.com/bbs/frown.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/frown.gif)
Are you suggesting she shouldn't be? Is it immoral to re-use a garment you used in your baptism?

I wasn't given anything...except a renewed spirit. http://www.totse.com/bbs/smile.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/smile.gif)

If you are going to place some sort of spiritual significance on a garment (which I wouldn't personally do anyway), I wouldn't turn around and use it on a "sexy" outfit.
The message is what bothers me...not the cloth.
In Christianity, we don't have trinkets and rememberances. They don't do us any good in the after life, so why bother ?
I mention that because you asked if I thought it was immoral, and it's not really about being moral or immoral. I am just curious why she thinks that makes her seem "dirty", or "bad", or even "cool".
If she hadn't said, "A little blasphemy, anyone ?" I wouldn't have thought twice about it.
If there is nothing immoral about it, then she should be proud of it; such sewing prowess is definately a skill worthy of some measure of admiration.

She is not proud of her sewing job, rather the blasphemy of using a cloth deemed to be "holy" by her church on a garment she wore to be "sexy" in.
SHE said it, not me.

I sensed the irony, which was the foundation for your humor.
That was not lost on me, no...but you posted it here, and I can't imagine it was for any other reason than what I have already addressed.
Either way, pics ? http://www.totse.com/bbs/wink.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/wink.gif)

Hahahaha! That's the DS I know and love.
Hm... I should scan some. None of them are good though. They're pictures of me and my kid brother in drag and we're all wasted. But, may be I'll wear it again and take better ones.
