in the united states there are new motions all the time to remove god from this country, things like that courtroom that wasnt alound to have the ten commandments and not being alound to pray in public schools are the same kind of things that are going to send people to hell, i found god, i have gone to a baptist church my whole life but never was a real christian untill i disided to be one myself, but thats a different topic. i have noticed even in the church , god barley exists, people are more concerned about dressing nice, and does the sermon go in the right order. they dont really care about god anymore.

you cant find god through any other means anymore, you gota do it all yourself these days, and you cant even do that in some other countrys. it is now illegal to try and convert people to christianity in islamic countrys.

bassicly my point is that i belive god has been surpressed to nearly nothing in a country that was originaly based on him. and i belive that it is mostly the governments fault. therefore i chose anarchy as well. god says to obey your government, but i cant do it when the gov. is killing god.

Good. The sooner God is dead, the better.

So you switched?

Also, the prayer in school was for prayer led by a faculty member; kids can still pray.

This government's not even really killing God, just making Him less necessary, less "in yo face".

And if the government WAS trying to kill God, you shouldn't have to worry, because your God can take care of Himself.

So Your God's dying? Well then, That just proves he doesnt exist if he can be killed so easily. In Greek days they held up theyre book and theyre gods until people wised up and realised how ridiculas it was, Theyre gods died and now we read about them in history books. Out of nowhere came christianity. In the future there will be no christianity and those people will read history books containing "western myths". Theyre will be a pic of jesus's smiling face right along side those articles. A new religion will reign supreme and so on and so forth. This countrys majority of ancestors were christian because they were not allowed to fallow it in england. It was not created FOR christians, It was created so people can beleive whatever the fuck they want. Your the reason everyone is trying to kill your God, Because your trying to shove his concept down our throats by allowing it in a place where im going to send MY child. I'll be damned if my kid becomes as blind and as stupid as you fucking christians, Well maybe not all christians are stupid in the classical sense but you definiteley are.

This country was never based on god. Thomas Jefferson, you've heard of him right?, he once said, "Christianity neither is, nor ever was a part of the common law."

Aside from that fact, I'm very sick of hearing this garbage. Christianity is huge in America, and its not under attack.

I've provided a poll since everyone on Totse loves to post them (not so much on My God, but in Politics). The interesting thing about polls is that I've never been asked to take a nationwide poll, nor have I ever met anyone that has taken one. Even still, here you go.

I was going to say somehting along these lines, and also, I think that mainstream religion for the most part is a load of crap anyway. I feel that in order to have a faith of whatever it should come from personal epiphanies and learning more about life and how to live it. Just because a shite load of people believe it doesn't mean it's true. I am glad for you that you discovered what you think is right for you, and I think that you should let everyone else do that too... if "god" wasn't disappearing and his word was in full force, you'd probably not want to believe that stuff.

But that's just my opinion.
