The idea of fire and goat footed demons seems a little dated. Is there like a personnel hell for everyone, or is it just a big congregation of suffering?

I would say hell is one big math class where the clock never ticks.

Goat footed demons are based on Azazel which some interpret as Satan but was originally based on a Goat God worshiped by shepards in some Middle Eastern Countries.
