Ever since 11/9 (9/11) the UK media has bombarded us with pointless programs about Islam. They usually consist of a reporter who is entirely sympathetic to Islam interviewing Muslims about how they don't respect the country they live in, other religions, or other peoples rights to freedoms which their religion forbids.

I'm tired of hearing about Islam, prior to the attacks on september the 11th the only programs on Islam would be shown for Religious studies teachers to record at 2am.

I don't have a problem with Muslims, I just don't want to think, hear, or see anything to do with Islam. I don't think they should live here as it's just causing problems and their religion is obviously incompatible with western civilisation. But just because I think this doesn't mean I'm a radical/activist/racist.

so its like you cant plug a usb into a wall power outlet cause then hippies will be all usb sympathetic even after the usb crashed a plane into a building full of innocent power outlets? (i only wrote this cause imcompatible sounds funny)

seriously though, you think that muslims shouldnt in a western civilisation? well its there choice to come here and if they want to leave work to pray to allah 5 times a day then they need to deal with that and manage to live like normal people at the same time, so youre right in that way, but if a reform muslim moves to north america, and just wants to have a family in an environment where women can be alone in public, then whats wrong with that?

It would be entirely against the principles of our civilization to deny them the right to live among us. Besides, I haven't experienced any "problems" that have been created by Islamic peoples (note that I mean by this the non-extremist sects that compose the large majority of the religion). Most of the problems I've experienced have been the results of bigots who don't understand, nor care to understand, the true nature of Islam.

As well, it might be beneficial to you to talk to someone who is actually Islamic and knows what they are talking about. That way, you can confront them about your concerns and if you come to the same conclusion, you will at least have something tangible to back it up. If you don't, you're no better than any other intolerant bigot.
