Would it be possible for whatever you believe to happen after death does happen so if you're christian you go to heaven or hell e.t.c. because this is something I've been thinking about recently and was wondering if the afterlife is actually a matter of belief

I don't think natural laws are contingent upon what humans 'think'.

To dumb it down even further:

Just because we wish for it, doesn't make it real.

There is no proof of a realm after death, there will never, in my opinion, be such proof.

There is no proof of a ressurection after having died, there will never, in my opinion, be proof of this until and unless it happens.

There is no proof of reincarnation, many may claim to be people in the past, there is no proof in the transmigration of entities, or that the soul is a "being".

There is no proof that a "soul" as in the typical Christian or Hindu definition, exists, as a spirit being.

There is proof that some things are animate and living, some things are inanimate, dead. Some things have life, some things don't seem to have life.
