This is what happened, I go to a forum (christianchatforum.com) and I'm pissed as hell at there rules. They do not accept any other religions on the board, second they condem homosexuality (not that I am) but how fucken shallow can you be? It's retarded, I was willing to be open to them and now they go and prove to me they are stupider then ever. Not only that, they got there references wrong. Cathoclics don't like homosexuality, christians are fine with it for the most part. Honestly, it's almost as bad as nazism, trying to promote your own ideals with no proof to support it and no open mindedness. This might be a rant, but it pisses me off so much when I see them thinking there better then everyone!

Circular defence and closing your mind to change is how it works. I don't think any religion can stand up against a logical debate. Buhdism doesn't exactly fit the same category as most religions, so it's exempt from that claim.

I'm not a Christian, but I disagree with this notion that they should have to accept gays. No they shouldn't, it's part of their religion to disdain homosexuality. If the gay people don't like it, they don't have to be Christian.

I prefer the Mythology of Hinduism, and the message of how to resolve suffering provided by Bhuddism. Many people think Bhuddism is without a God and Hinduism is full of Gods while both have the same essential God at their core of which all the dieties are an aspect of.

I didn't say it wasn't a religion, only that it isn't based on close mindedness and circular defence. Its based on on quite the opposite, openmindedness and the persuit for truth. I agree that it's a good one, as my life is based around it quite a bit, but I wouldn't say that I'm a buhddist.

But it isn't the homosexuality itself that Catholics condemn, it's engaging in acts gay sex. Whether or not they (Catholics) uphold that belief well is pretty debatable, but that's the Church's stance on it. You can be gay, but just not have sex.
