say for example, if you were a christian and one day, in huge flaming letters in the sky saying something like "Hello, this is Allah! I'm going to end the world shortly. Just thought I'd tell you."

I don't know if your example would constitute absolute proof, but if I was given sufficient reason/proof, then yes.

If there was absolute proof one would have to be a fool not to convert, but there can be no absolute proof. There can always be doubt.

Even if one who claimed to be God told be to be something who would I be sure it was god? turned a goat into a chicken? It could be an allusion . Sent his son done to earth he got killed and came back to life? Could have had a twin. Sends me to big giant thing in the sky? could be a hallucinogen.

Not to say there are not things that could convert me.

If god himself came down and said that the ignorant christians were correct in their puffed up vanity and illogical assumptions, I would spit in his face and accept my Hell.
