most often i think about death. is it like being stuck in an eternity of sleep or is there really a life after death. we go on living our lives knowing theres that wall and not even comprehending what it really is.

what if we have the wrong ideas. we condemn murder but what if we werent even supposed to live in the first place. we wouldnt know because the only ones with the answers are the deceased. perhaps when you die your eternally stuck in your corpse. then we dig your grave and you go insane in a coffin for eternity. we make conclusions about life and death when we might have a totally wrong impression. We condemn death because we fear it. We fear it because we dont know what IT is. There are endless possibilities of what death might be.

Well, there certainly could be some kind of afterlife, but I and no one else has any idea what it is. It’s impossible for us to know.

Personally, however, I really do feel, deep down, that in the end it’s the end, there is no afterlife. It’s an eternity of being an object, not a being, an object, that slowly rots and then spends the rest of eternity as dust and bones.

Hard to comprehend being nothing but dust for eternity, isn’t it? Personally, I think that is why people invented the concept of thee afterlife. I’m not ruling out the afterlife, but I doubt it, and if there is one than I shall be pleasantly surprised.

But verily thou callest them to the Straight Way;

And verily those who believe not in the Hereafter are deviating from that Way.

If We show mercy to them and remove the distress which is on them, they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering in distraction to and fro.

Already have We grasped them with punishment, but they humble not themselves unto their Lord, nor do they pray,

Until, when We open for them the gate of extreme punishment, behold! they are aghast thereat.

It is He Who has created for you hearing, sight, feeling and understanding:little thanks give ye.

And He has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered back.

It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand?

On the contrary they say things similar to what the men of old said.

"Such things have been promised to us and to our fathers before! they are nothing but tales of the ancients!"

"Nor had we any authority over you. Nay, it was ye who were a people in obstinate rebellion!

"So now has been proved true, against us, the word of our Lord that we shall indeed taste.

We led you astray: for truly we were ourselves astray."

Verily that is how We shall deal with Sinners.

For they, when they were told that there is no god except Allah, would puff themselves up with Pride,

And said: Shall we forsake our gods for a mad poet?

Nay! he has come with the Truth, and he confirms the messengers.

Ye shall indeed taste of the Grievous Penalty;-

But it will be no more than the retribution of what you did.

I believe death is just like sleep, you don't know you're dead until you wake up, when you wake up it feels like you just slept a little while, even if it was a million years.
