Well one time while i was in class are history teacher was having a diccusion about the new pope. This one kid just blurted out "my pastor told me that all Catholics are going to HELL". I asked him why he said that his fellow christians are going to hell. He said he didnt know just his pastor told him that.

What are you talking about your not supposed to worship any except god. Even Jesus said that! How is that sinning.

But the Christians say Jesus IS God, and the Son of God, but also the incarnation of God on Earth...They blasphemy outright, the pastor was right, the Catholics are going to hell along with him!

They say God is One, but Also has 3 distinct Parts or Incarnations, The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit. Jesus is the BEGOTTEN Son of God: But is God in the form of a man on Earth too.

If they will make incarnations, they have little understanding of how The One True God is incarnate in every single atom that exists.

I don't waste my time asking why the fight amongst themselves, merely sit back and enjoy the chaos, and mock their stupidity.

Once you grok that Christianity is essentially a religion of fear and denial, everything about it starts making sense.

A.M. I'd agree with you in the sense of the organised church -- churchianity -- the Romans and their many cults may call themselves christian, however their fruits show them to be far from the creed of their supposed founder. Is 'christianity' the only religion that operates this way? Islam is full of the dire threats of eternal suffering awaiting unbelievers, it puts the xian bible in the shade with graphic descriptions of the eternal torments awaiting at the hands of a aleegedly 'merciful' and 'compassionate' god. Same thing "fear and denial", how about buddhism, once more graphic descriptions of hell and suffering, albeit not necessarily eternal. The hand of the priest/rulers is evident in all the religions I've seen and it seems organised religion follows similar steps.

First the excitement generated by the founder, usually a charismatic teacher, then upon the teachers death, a consolidation of the teaching - written doctrines, holy books etc. The next step is the bureaucratisation of the organisation that inevitably morphs, and the subsequent machinations of that system see the original context of the teachings misused to support the majorities on the committees.

I'm curious, how is it that so many contributors here have expressed this same unbalanced view? Many good and uplifting things have come from the teachings of the greats of history. Why is it you choose to present a negative stereotype?

i have absolutely no fucking idea what this even means. i would ask for clarification, but I think i'm perfectly happy with the statement how it is. it's kind of beautiful, in a bizarre nonsensical way.
