View Full Version : Cell phone vs Bible/Quran
I wonder what would happen if we treated the Bible/Quran like we treat our cell phones?
What if we carried it around in our pockets or purses?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we flipped through it several times a day?
What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
What if we gave it to kids as gifts?
What if we used it as we traveled?
What if we used it in case of an emergency?

Interesting I wonder how the bible would do in an emergency situation that you would normally turn to a cell phone for. Try it and find out.

Similarities between the Bible, the Qur'an, and a cell phone:
-All 3 were created BY man, FOR man.
-Once you pick one up, it's hard to remember how you lived without it.
-If the signal continually fades, you just pick up a better plan from a competitor and move on.
-If you don't quite understand the instruction manual which explains all the cool features, you just use the features that appeal to you and ignore all the others.
-You think YOUR calling plan is superior to other people's calling plans.

Well, that's all fine and dandy as long as we don't use cellphones like we use the bible/quran. Because I doubt a cellphone would make good toilet paper.
