I'm sorry, but this is really idiotic...There is no point to your question...

Idiotic, eh? If you remove the "god" part of his post, it's rather interesting.

Intuitively one would think that they would form simultaneously. Our solar system started as a nebula, and as time progressed the particles within the nebula started to coalesce. Eventually we got bigger and bigger rocks coalescing together until we got the planets, asteroids, and comets of today. However, did the rocky planets and the gas giants/sun form at the same time, or did they form at different times/rates due to their state of matter?

I don't know if science has provided any hypothesis regarding this. If anyone knows anything about solar system formation, I'd love to hear an explanation.

yes there is. if "god" creater of everyting created the earth before the sun then i was just going to prove a christian wrong because then we could not tell how meny days it was between the time that he created the earth and sun because we would have no way to tell how meny times the earth rotated. there would be the earth and nothing else no stars or any thing. how would you know if it was turning at all if theres nothing to compair the motion to?

Ok, do me a favor. Draw a set of 3D cartesian coordinates. Now place a dot at a random point. Now draw a unit sphere centered at said dot. Now rotate said sphere. Voila, you can rotate a planet without a sun. Given the fact that God is omniscient, he could do the exact same thing with Earth and measure the number of rotations of Earth between the creation of Earth and the creation of the sun.

God could also claim that the length of a day is relatively fixed (24 hours). He could then measure the time between the creation of the sun and the creation of the earth as he is omnipotent. Of course, this argument is contingent upon the semantics of Genesis...

I'm not a Christian, but your argument is very weak.

The mormon perspective on this:

You are a fucking idiot.

Thank you.
