We should all have a basic understanding of matter before we begin:

At the lowest level, all matter is basically the same. Get past the atom, and everything is quirks and qwarks (or whatever they are called). Apparently this is true of the higest level (universal God). But this thread isnt about universal God, its about human God, or what i belive is our Collective Conscience.

All those miniscule, nearly non-existant particles, unknowingly, are part of somthing bigger. Slowly as the camera zooms back, you get to see the bigger picture. Atoms, molecular structures, substances big enough for us to see, living creatures. It gives you an idea of how big the universe really is, from an atomic perspective.

All your cells are most like unconscience of you. Most likly, if they have any conscience, it is a 1st or 2nd dimensional one. They just do what they do to survive. God (you) created them, you bring them nutrition, you bring them disease. To your cells, you are God.

Some 90% of our brains go unused. This part of the brain is better developed in cannabis users, and even better in their offspring. Prehaps the next step up, is somthing we dont understand because we cant. We cant see it because we were never ment to, we never needed to. But maybe our subconscience is all part of a larger collective conscience, and our own personal beliefs and experiances develop human ethics and morals.

I suppose if that is true, when using meditation and enthenogenic substances, you could potentially raise your conscience to this level, and experiance a connection with all humanity. If everyone could do that, i belive we, for the most part, would begin to stop recognizing this level of conscience. Or maybe we would just like the other one better.

somewhat unrelated, but prehaps the whole 'ascention' thing is just recognizing this connaction and accepting it?

Hmmmmm... kinda makes you think. its like those times where your just bored or tryin to go to sleep and suddenly a thought occurs to you and you build off of that saying "well what if..." interesting. dont really have much of a reply but again its an interesting thought.

meditation doesn't develop your brain it develops your mind(understanding, conciousness)

um....i didnt say meditation did. never mind man. I was trying to say that meditation shows you theres more out there. i agree, yes it does expand the mind, and i think the mind (as you and most peope do) is a higher function of the brain. so uh....yeah....

We use all of our brain, not only 10% meditation can not be explained as simply as you put it, just because humans dont "usually" do something doesnt mean when we do it that its some amazing unexplainable event that must mean we somehow have a deeper level of 'something' to us.

Monks can dry soaking towels in short periods of time by meditation and visualisation, people who would usually be weak can pick up cars to free a loved one, no one nkows how or why these things happen, but just because they dont usually happen doesnt mean that if they do we suddenly arent just another animal, OR that it proves there is a god.

yes, now that i've realized that the part i was talking about was the hippocampus. But when i wrote that, i only had the memory of that article from sometime before. I had to google it to find it for you. And i suppose that would infact make them smarter. BUT, this is really a disaster of a thread now. The point of this thread has been compleatly missed because of one sentance i included because i simply remembered somthing from some old artilce with rats at the moment i was writing this. I really dont care if pot makes you smarter, more conscience, or a dumbass. I believe it makes someone closer to their spiritual side, and acts as an aid in meditation. Thats it. So if anyone was to look at ALL THE OTHER stuff i wrote, and write a little more then a simple intrest in my ideas, go ahead. If you want to argue about pot, then fuck off to BLTC because this is MyGod, and thats not the point of this thread.
