How in this day and age can so many people follow religion so....blindly? I mean there is no proof of God what so ever, granted there's also no proof that there isn't a God. But that doesn't mean that by default there must be a God.

At least science can offer us alternate possibilities and theories, that at least make a hell of a lot more sence logically than God. Know I know that the church say's "well God is omnipotent and works in mysterious ways". But thats not an answer, it's a complete dodging of the question altogether.

Life is cruel and when you're life is at rock bottom, it's easier to say "this must be part of Gods plan" why? Because it's easier than taking responsibility and excepting that YOU made mistakes in your life and YOU are to blame for the situation you put yourself in.

The truth is we use the idea of God as a comfort zone, for when the shit hits the fan, "oh don't worry it'll be ok God will save us." the fuck will he! Noone has seen or heard from this supposidly, kind, all loving, all powerful entity, for the last few thousand years. So what makes you think that one exists? What makes you follow so blindy?

YES!

I have been saying this for years, destiny god most of it if not all is just a way of shifting the blame a way of make you feel better when some one dies, you never hear that when something good happens "its must have been destiny" nope what you hear is them claming it was all them but if it was something bad, "must have been fate"
