Or the supernatural, or things like that? There's too many weird things that happen in this world to not believe, but does anybody else?

So just because you can't explain something, you expect it to be the work of an angel?

You want to know if anyone else believes in angels or anything else supernatural? Haven't you been reading this forum? Plenty of folks here do.

What kind of weird things in this world are happening that would make it obvious for one to believe in the supernatural?

An angel is amessenger of God. We tend to be rather dense creaures, fearful and tradition bound. There are beings whose solepurpose is to act as God's messengers. I met one once--he was driving a Volvo. But that's another story.

At another level, there are humans who have been appointed by God to serve as His messenger. There have been many of us, and will continue to be. Our ranks include Shakespeare, Jesus, Robert Anton Wilson, Jung, and so on.

At still another level, everyone is a messenger of God, as we all are created in the image and likeness of God, and carry a spark of God in our hearts.

Verily is it written, "the kingdom of God is within you." To find it, you must go within--or else, you will surely go without.

It fills me with much pleasure to see how your beliefs are so damn close to my own AM.

My grandma said something along the lines of "We'll have to pray for angels to look out for [relatives]." I just gave her this sort of blank stare. She's like, "You do believe in angels, don't you?! Guardian angels, that watch over us?!"

A 60 year old woman who thinks telling an invisible friend to send invisible cronies to protect us...eesh. http://www.totse.com/bbs/eek.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/eek.gif)

"...Have you ever noticed in the Bible that whenever God wanted someone punished, or whenever God needed a killing, He sent an angel? Did you ever wonder what a creature like that must be like? The whole of existence spent praising your God with one wing dipped in blood? Would you ever want to see an angel?..."

I believe in angels as messengers, thoughs who are sent to spread the message and the correct guidance through the right path. With every prophet that lived came with the same message, there is only one god and to believe in god and judge not by what he created.

No. Say you believe in pixies and a religious person may call you insane but then they will go say they believe in God and angels.

I think I met an angel one time. I had slit my wrists and slashed my thighs and I had finally passed out from blood loss (I guess) and while I was out I had this vision where I was riding in a van with this dark haired guy. It seemed like we talked for a long time and in the vision we reached a grassy hill and got out of the car. We sat there and I told him all of my sorrows and he held my hand and told me that things would get better. He told me, "If you die, then you'll never have your chance to live any kind of happy life. You could have so much happiness, Liz...Can't you just stick it out and see what happens?" Then he got up, took my hand and pulled me up. I woke up to about 50 paramedics, cops and firemen bursting into my house. You see, my roommate (who was supposed to be gone all weekend) had come home early and found me.
