ever noticed how Islam and christianity have some of the same stories? (adam and eve, abraham, etc.)

that's because abraham's firstborn son, ishmael, is what i think of is a seed to islam.

from that point, it all seperates.

So your saying Christianity is better because it was there first or something?

Or are you just pointing out a helpful fact, that up till now I didnt think fully about.

Thanks....or maybe fuck you, you crazy religous type http://www.totse.com/bbs/biggrin.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/biggrin.gif)

People are hostile around these parts, eh? Yeah, it's quite interesting how everything ties in together, and it always pisses me off to see raving Christian zealots on TV ranting the same pointless Islam vs Christianity, Jesus vs Alah type crap that seems to show up on these forums all the time.

I could probably rant and rave and elaborate for hours, but what's the point. Islam's interesting, and if everyone was as boring as I was, I'd reccoment they find a copy of the Qur'an and actually read it. Any diehard Christian fanatic would find a good half of it to sound quite familiar.

Yes, jesus is also in the quran, also named as one of gods most important prophets. But its a little different in regards of how islam and christianity says jesus died, bibble says jesus died on a cross,(crucifixion..etc) and in quran says something like he was raised upto heaven,etc..with no mension of dying on a cross.
