Is it arrogant of god to create human beings for the sole purpose of worshipping him?
♠
Isn't it a little arrogant of you to think you can question God?

There is nothing wrong with questioning, if you find truth then it strengthens your faith. If you can't give a helpful response then don't post.

well if I were god. A being so powerful that if a human were to see me, he would be destroyed. If he were to hear my voice, they would be destroyed.
Then yes, I would be kind of arrogant.

If you find truth it's no longer faith (As in it's confirmed). If you can't take sarcasm get off Totse.

So you think we shouldn't seek the truth? You'd prefer to be a sheep?

Actually, that is real close. In my view--and in the view of millions of others who follow the New Gospel--God created us in order to accomplish on the material plane what he/she/it/them/whatever could not accomplish on the purely spiritual plane.

Now I don't remember saying that. I said that if you know as a fact the truth it's not faith. Search all you want. Question everything you can and learn all you're able to. I never said don't.
If you're refering to my "Isn't it arrogant of you to question God?" joke well then...
"If you can't understand sarcasm then isn't it really arrogant of you to be questioning God?"
Can't quite decide if there is sarcasm in that last one or not. Nice Tid Bit either way.

But that's just science/logic.
Vibrations of a higher value can't mix with lower ones or the lower ones will get ripped apart!

Does he/she/it/them/whatever refer to God? Because if it does then are you suggesting that God is not omnipotent? He can't accomplish everything?

The main reason we worship Him is so that He sees that we deserve a place in Heaven.
Or something or other. There's more to it, but you know.

So he was bored then? So he just made us to watch us to see if we're going to spend an eternity of suffering or not?
Which leads us to the "If god is so perfect, how could he get bored/lonely?"

It ain't arrogance if you can back it up.
Maybe you mean selfish instead. But if God wern't selfish then you wouldn't be here, so there you go. Now lets put aside all this talk of heresy and pray for salvation.
