Talking vegetables promoting Christianity?
Wait a minute, there's something wrong here.
The only reason that the vegetables are talking is that it is the work of magic, and magic = witchchraft. And witchcraft = the work of the devil. And the only reason that they're promoting Christianity is that they are actually discreetly promoting Devil Worship!
LO AND BEHOLD! CHRISTIANITY = DEVIL WORSHIP!
In the bible God was offered meat and vegetables by Cain and Abel, he rejected the offer of vegetables and took the meat. God would not certainly approve of this.
What would God want with meat? Or any food for that matter?
Hell why'll we're at it, why would good even need or want a sacrifice?

Or it could be that is a "miracle" instead of Devil worship.

MasteryPython, I hope you're joking. The commandment forbids graven images, which menas religious creations that would replace God (specifically idols) . The first commandment states to have no other gods before Him (God)
Secondly, Iskalla, the reason God rejected Cain's offering because it was not his best crop. God accepted Abel's sacrifice because the animals (sheep I think) were without blemish.

The Hutterites here don't get pictures taken for their drivers licences because it is a violation of the second comandment. The graven images and all pictures are forbiden in seperate sentances.
Strangly enough the Hutterite who are much like the Amish in many ways have a website. It even has pictures.

The way it used to be interpreted by the Jewish people, you couldn't have *any* graven images. Which is why they got pissed off at the Romans when they brought in statues to Jerusalem.
According to the Bible, God didn't want any images of himself either... when the Israelites tried to create an image of God (they envisioned him as a golden calf), both God and Moses got very angry at them.

It also might be that because the pagan religions practiced sympathetic magic (http://www.themystica.com/mystica/articles/s/sympathetic_magic.html), which has to do with likenesses, that the Israelites were forbidden to make images of things themselves. The Israelites forbode themselves from many things that the pagans did (non-Kosher foods, sexual rites, idol worship, etc.), in hopes that it would make them more pure.
