If you try too force your belief's onto someone else, then you are no better than any other religion.

The thing I like about atheism, is most people grow up in religious homes, so you pretty much have to find it on your own.

You're an idiot. You probably are calling your self an athiest because you think it's the cool thing to be now, right?

And believe me, this is not coming from a religous person, just one who hate's fake people.

The person who started this topic is just as bad as those christians who try to force their religion upon you...

I was just browsing and noticed this thread and could not believe at what such a pathetic remark that guy has made. Im an atheist and have been for 13 years of my 20 year life, and i have to say im not quite sure why he was asking people to join Atheism, Atheism is obviously not a religion and telling people to join it is a double negative. People will make their own choice into their own religion or none at all, or they could be agnostic and not really be bothered. To be honest i think we can all tell this idiot is not really an atheist and and is trying to 'different'.

Exactly. That is why I said he is no better then a christian who tries to force you to convert to their faith.

I'll do what I want. Fuck you.

And it will be Atheism, but I sure as hell don't want a peon telling me what to think unless that peon is me.

Haha, this thread made me laugh.

Not so much the first post, but the dramatic responces of the people who got offended.

Wow do some spell check, but anyways its just how your mind or brain accepts things. when you came of age to really know what was being talked about in church (really able to comprehend it and evaluate it) your brain looked at and said "this is bullshit". It all depends upon your experiences and how your brain interprets the things that go in it. thats my take on it anyways.

Most atheists were believers at one point in their lives, and became atheists after they evaluated what they really thought about the belief system they were raised in. So although you may have been a theist at one point in your life, beliefs change, and thus the label you ascribe to your self changes as well.
