If you were the creator, would you be pissed off if your creations didn't worship you?

You're all-powerful, and invisible because you transcend time and space (for arguement's sake). Put aside the eternal and omni-* arguments. That's not the point of this post.

You have the power to create pretty much anything. So, you create little people with free-will and the ability to rationalize just cuz you're bored and have nothing else to do. Now, you put these little people on your desk. They can't see you but you can see them.

Now, on your desk are things like a water-bottle, a hammer, a can of Axe deodourant, etc, etc. And in your room is a lightbulb.

Now, you notice that these little people you created have a little too much time on their hands, always wondering who the fuck created them. Some start worshipping the water-bottle and some the lightbulb in your room, and some others some other stupid shit you had on your desk in the first place to begin with.

Wouldn't you be pissed? I sure as hell would.

Pissed enough to throw those that didn't worship you into your bong and light it?

Yeah, it's a shitty post but I'm half asleep and my writting skills are getting shittier by the day. But, you get the point. Now, answer.

When I played Sim City for SNES, my citizens were always complaining about polution from the industry. I tried to space it out as much as possible, I really did. And I built parks! I built so many god damn parks but they never stopped complaining!

Year after year. Well, I showed them when I unleashed a series of tornados, earthquakes, and godzilla on them.

I think that answers your question pretty well.

Actually it wouldnt because im fucking invisible and dont give them knowledge of my presence. i mean if they something tangible to worship why would they want to worship an invisible man that they dont know is there at that point in time? what i would do is send part of myself to them and then kill it to appease my own anger at my own creation. i think though that i would have way to much fun messing with these people to care if they worshipped me or not.

I'd be way more pissed off that I made these lame, fleshy humans, when I could have made Transformers.

Haha sounds about right.

I'd be disappointed that I did such a shitty job. Or that my "image" was this cheesey. (yes I said that)

But no, if I'm all powerful, and what them to believe me, I'd examine why they don't. realise it was my fault, and change it.

I seriously doubt there's some god up there wanting us to worship him. The universe is too friggen big for 'him' to care about us specificly.

Maybe we're all part of a video game, developed by some advanced creature.. Some strategy game.

I wonder if we're winning.

Humans are creators, do we ask our cars and bikes or anything other of the amaziing array of human creativity of things that never before existed(as far as we know), to worship us? Ridiculous as expecting a child to practice the way of love better, or to be more disciplined than the parent!

Dark energy and dark matter transcend our understanding of time and space -- that's 95% of existence we know nothing about, the vast universe of form, of space and time is but a fraction of all that necessarily exists.

There cannot be absolute nothing therefore there must be something everywhere, there can be no place there is nothing. Nothing does not exist, something does not come from nothing. Everything that exists is part of the something that must exist because there cannot be nothing.

Human concepts applied to God aside, an interesting thought: there has to be an exercise of 'will'"free-will" for creation to occur. To have a will indicates a 'personal' being for what other do we know of that has a 'will', other than a 'person' - a sentient being - aware of their own existence. It's not like a tree or a rock wills cars and bikes into being! http://www.totse.com/bbs/wink.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/wink.gif)

Means whatever the creator was/is it must exist beyond what we know of time and space, however by some means not yet clear to science, the vast reservoir of power that resides in the infinite dimension required by the absence of any alternative to existence, has willed the creation of a finite universe of form that must be composed of the very same stuff as the infinite? Pure energy?

Expressed in math: As actual/literal zero does not exist, would that mean existence expressed as an equation would be 1. There cannot be nothing therefore there must be something/onething? There cannot be any zero until the illusion of duality - that the 1 is 2 is created, then at +3 comes –1, and the 1 becomes the many, expressed in the yin-yang of life. Life comes only from life, things are created by and thru the exercise of a personal will. The infinite ‘something’ that exists as the imperative(for there cannot be nothing) is reflected as the mind of a creator. The infinite something, the creative source, must both be alive and personal. This creation must be in and of a living personal creator for there can be no other? How can there be? There cannot be nothing, onething exists appearing as the many it nevertheless is onething. Something cannot come from nothing, our being must come from the infinite being reflected thru the personal will expressed in creation as ourselves -- personal beings possessing a creative will, finite reflections of the infinite mind.

Peace http://www.totse.com/bbs/smile.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/smile.gif)

I wouldn't have bothered, it's not like we do anything interesting around the planet anyway.
