Okay, I've been watching O'Reilly, Coulter, Hannity, Buchanan and others bitch about this for at least 2 years, but It seems that it's basically an excuse to push their "morals" int other peoples' lives. Well,. I was asking for your opinion on this

I missed something.... did the Christians declare another war? It's getting hard to keep up.

There have been and always will be a hardcore conservative element urging the adoption of some narrow view of a religion's tenents. If you think these guys are nuts you should listen to some shortwave broadcasts on WWCR. As far as they are concerned, most churches in the US are Satanic. I remember hearing Brother Stair (off the air now) threaten to beat the hell out of God because God was wrong.

O'Reilly is good to listen to on the radio and Buchanan even makes sense on some issues. Hannity and Coulter are just plain spiteful to make a dollar. No problem, that's what they do. It's not like the left doesn't have their antagonists.

It's really a shame that the extreme viewpoints are what gets all the airtime. The Christian faith would be better served if the gentle and intelligent believers that I've had the pleasure of discussing religion with were to be shown more in the public view.

I remember getting yelled at by this bitch at my old job because I said 'Happy Holidays'.

She wanted me to wish her a Merry christmas. I find its rediculous that so many Christians want to force their stupid holidays down Jews and Muslims throats(Athiests seem to celebrate Christmas, so they escape this).

Oh, thank you everyone. But yes, the Christian have declared a Culture War (well, they have been sinve 2004 and they say the main battle is Christmas.

Seriously, someone (if not, me) should go on cafepress and make a T-shirt: "It's a Holoday Tree" (with the Tree on Top)

Or a caption saying "Happy Holidays, Fundies" (and emphasize "Holidays"
