The question i have is why do u ppl post many topics on evolution on "My God Can Beat the Shit Out of Your God" forum,why dont u just go to "Noahs Ark" forum or better yet "Half Baked" it seems to be more suited to the topic.

Because most of the debate over evolution that arises is whether it supports, contradicts or is irrelevant to religious beliefs.

I dont think Ive ever seen a topic solely about proving or disproving evolution without religious motivation behind it.

creationists don't debate. they put the bible on the table and say 'there, that is all the evidence that i need'. sure, thats all good and well for them, but it's not actualy proof of anything, as any sensible person will admit.

how can scientific fact argue with that? how can anything?

evolution is an idea arrived at based on archeological discovery and what we know of biological systems. creationism is based on a single human edited book with no historical credentials at all.



debate? a real debate using evidence would leave the creationist stranded. what possible tangible proof could they bring to the table?

*evidence does not include reasons why evolution may be wrong, errors made by evolutionary scientists or other extraneous points. they are arguments against evolution, not for creation.

evidence does also not include proving one part of the bible then extrapolating and claiming the entire bible is factual, that is false logic.

evidence certainly does not include the reasoning that absence of a satisfactory answer means creationism is true.

evidence is neutral, and is used to support a positive hypothesis
