heres my theory i came up with.... The jewish have their god, and they praised him well right?...ok...and people say how god sheds a tear when every man woman or child dies. What happend for the 6 million that died?... People say god was a hero when he saved the thousand some odd amount of jewish after it was all over... i say fuck that shit...what about the 6 million abollished....the 6 million wiped off the face of the planet. Sometimes i wonder if there is a god...someone please help me out here

I've heard that no where near six million Jews died during the Holocaust. I have no clue whether this is true or not. However, this does not take away from the fact that the Holocaust was an atrocity.

Historians believe around 11 million died in the Holocaust. 6 million Jews and 5 million others: Gypsies, Slavs, communists, homosexuals, POWs, etc.

I understand the concept of a God who is Laissez Faire.

However, if such a God demands worship and promises to send those to Hell who do not. I feel that he would have a certain obligation to make sure that six million of his followers didn't get murdered.

I know enough about history to know that it is always skewed, biased, and hardly ever objective. If Stalin wasn't an atheist jew, then please tell me what he was? I know he affiliated with jesuits, but the man was against religion. He all but eliminated the Russian orthodox church.

You're assuming god owes people something. You're also assuming that god is the Christian god that sends people to hell. According to Judaic doctrine there is so heaven or hell as actual places, therefore the subject is moot byway of the Holocaust.

And even if god did threaten all these people with sending them to hell and such, what makes you think god has to be a nice guy? What makes you think god is a guy at all, that actually thinks, and sits around watching you? Do you really think that if there is a god he's facinated with you? If there is a god he's probably so fucking bored with us he doesn't even know what's going on anymore than you know what the 13th cell to the left is doing in your kidneys right now.

I know someone Jewish named Cory in Winnipeg. A lot of Jews don't believe in God or don't practice because of the holocaust, sure.
