This is just me thinking out loud, so bare with me here.....

What would stop a group of people making up a religion, opening a church, and claiming all the tax benefits that go along with it.

How many people would have to attend? And at what point could you say something like "My religion forbids me to work on the last weekday of every month", and be allowed to not work on that day?

I mean, if you look at Scientology......

I've already started the "Flatulicism".

A religion based mostly on disgusting bodily functions, made up prophets (called prophits), sheer stupidity, contradictions, and "making-it-up-as-we-go-along".

Anything you can get from any other religion, you'll get here as well, only better.

As in "I'm ready to promise you anything-no matter how far out it is".

The only thing that won't be accepted, is if you start to think for yourself, point out the flaws, or ask too many questions.

There won't be any harsh consequeces though, other than the fact you'll be fed a load of bullshit.

Having said that, I feel obligated to remind you, that given the nature of this religion, you might as well be shot in the neck.

The whole idea came to me about a month ago, while I was taking a dump, and it's an 8000 year old religion.

Sounds fishy? Well, remember what I said earlier.

I didn't do it for the tax benefits though, as it is not an official and accepted religion (yet), but to have something to throw at all the self righteous, smug, holier-than-thou cunts I bumb into once in a while.

I plan on getting all the financial benefits, once we're big enough though.

It is the only true religion, and all the others are just something someone made up, because they were afraid of the dark...

Now, can someone tell me, what makes this religion any less worth following, than any other religion?
