I was curious about how the drug laws and religon actually work. According to this:

"Marijuana is a Schedule I hallucinogenic controlled substance and that Supreme Court ruled on that day that religious freedom was more important that the drug laws. The case is called, “Gonzales vs. O Centro Espirita Beneficiente Uniao do Vegetal” and the Supreme Court ruled in a unanimous decision (8-0)."

I could theoretically create a religon based on any drug I wanted. For example I could come up with a religion based on cocaine or LSD use. According to that statement I could do this couldn't I?

I know getting a brand new religion established is no easy task and the chances of me doing this are slim, but regardless it sparked my interest.

Laws as written, yes. Effectively, no. Leary tried this during the 60's, and it didn't work. if I'm not mistaken, some have tried to do it with marijuana also, and it hasn't worked. Generally, the courts require a rather long history of sacred interaction with the substance in question--it has to be obvious that the "religion" is not just a means to drug use.

By what you're saying I'd have to prove people used to use it spiritually? If thats the case, no problem. Believe it or not there was once a time (not that long ago) you could walk into a drugstore and buy some coke or opium. By your logic jediism would not exsist because they do not have a long history seeing as that the original star wars came out like 30 years ago. I dont see how it could possibly be illegal for me to make a religon based on another illegal drug when the supreme court just ruled this year that religous freedom is more important than drug laws. Could you or someone else please clarify?

3 years is not a "long history" my friend. :P just smoke indoors and you'll be fine. if you can't smoke indoors for one reason or another, do something about it.

I said 30 years and I think you're missing my point. It's not like I want to start a religon to help people, I just want all the money you can make running a religion. People are stupid so why not exploit that? People love drugs so why not give them a place to use them legally for a fee.
